Pumpkin Pecan Dessert

1 can pumpkin (15 oz)
1 can evaporated milk (12 0z)
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
1 /2 cups pecans (if you don't have it walnuts will work)
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 package of butter yellow cake mix

In a medium bowl toss in pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar and the spices. Mix well. Grease a 13x9 baking pan and pour the batter in. Sprinkle the cake mix over the mixture. Next sprinkle the pecans. Finally, pour the melted butter evenly over the top of the pecans. Bake this at 350 for 55 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Let cool then serve. I like to serve this with a spoonful of whipped cream and sprinkle cinnamon on top.
