Italian Green Beans


1 tbs butter
3 tbs olive oil
1 white onion
2 lbs green beans
4 tomatoes or 1 16oz canned
3 garlic cloves
3 tbs fresh oregano chopped or 2 Tbs dried
1 cup vegetable stock
1 tbs basil chopped or 2 tbs dried
Salt and pepper to taste

In a large skillet add butter and olive oil. Toss in onion, garlic tomatoes and heat about 5 minutes until tomatoes start to break down and onions are tender. Add green beans, oregano, veg. stock and basil and cook until green beans are tender about 20-25 minutes.
Add salt and pepper.
