
1 cup sour cream or plain yogurt at room temp.
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 cups fresh blackberries
1/2 cup brown sugar
In a small baking dish toss in sour cream, sugar, cinnamon, then gently fold in blackberries. Sprinkle the brown sugar on top. Place baking dish at least 6 inches from the top and broil until the brown sugar melts and caramelizes. (about 3 minutes) You may need to rotate the dish if top browns unevenly. Serve hot
Note- Sometimes I add a dash of lime zest to the sour cream to add a variety.
