I grew up in the Pacific Northwest where blackberries grow plumper, juicier and everywhere you turn. I use to pick them on walks through our property. I watched people pull over to the side of the road filling buckets full . So I decided to share with you this delightful dessert my family and I adore. It's extremely easy and very delicious. We make it for family home evening. Setting the baking dish in the center of the table and with each of us, spoons in hand dig in. It a dessert that will disappears so quickly I don't bother with individual plates. Once you see the berries release their juices into the cream and the caramelizing of the brown sugar you heart will be sold.
