Chocolate Cake

1 Cup Butter, room temp
2 1/2 cups sugar
5 eggs
11/2 tsp vanilla, extract
2 3/4 cups flour
1 cup baking cocoa
2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups water

IN an electric mixer cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.  Toss in eggs one at a time and beat well and the vanilla. Next, in a bowl toss in flour, cocoa,baking soda,baking powder, salt mix and then pour this into the creamed mixture alternating with the water, beat well.  Grease 3 9 in round baking pans and pour mixture into them.  Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean.  Cook and remove from pans.
