1/2 cup butter or margarine
3 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 1/3 cup sugar
8 egg whites
1/2 cup sour cream
1/3 cup evaporated skim milk
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
In a electric mixer toss in butter and mix until fluffy. Gradually add sugar and mix well. Toss in egg whites, sour cream, milk and vanilla, beat well. In a bowl toss in flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa.
Stir and then add this to the butter mixture. Grease a 13x9x2 inch baking pan and pour mixture into pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Cool then frost.
Creamy Chocolate Frosting
3 cups sifted powdered sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup milk
In a electric mixer toss in sugar, cocoa, salt, then gradually add vanilla and milk. Mix until fluffy.
Frost brownies.
Makes about 24 bars.
